On 20^thand 21^stJune, around 140 researchers, practitioners, policymakers and R&I stakeholders discussed the state-of-the-art and future perspectives for Responsible Research and Innovationin Europe. Lively online discussions, including more than a thousand messages on Twitter, extended the conference far beyond the unique theatre venue in the heart of Brussels.

In addition to the two EU-funded projects hosting the event, NUCLEUS and RRI-Practice, eight other RRI initiatives signed a Joint Declaration, urging the European Commission to to make RRI  a key objective of the upcoming framework programme, Horizon Europe.
